It is clear that however well-intentioned, swimming lessons and coaching don’t always help you achieve your goal – and despite what you may think, it’s not your fault, it’s the fault of the lessons that haven’t met your needs.
We know that the secret to great swimming whatever your level of expertise or goal is about learning to be relaxed and comfortable and everybody can learn to do this. Tense and stressed does not equal good swimming and can easily cause injury.
So they can learn to swim with ease and stay relaxed and injury-free – you don’t need strength, youth, athleticism, endless workouts or shoulders like Adam Peaty to be able to swim better than you ever thought possible.
We understand how adults learn and our lessons are based on this understanding. We welcome swimmers of all swimming abilities equally – you don’t have to be able to swim at all to come and see us and no you won’t be the worst we’ve ever seen!

We understand that it’s hard to know what your body is doing in the water so we routinely use video so that you get instant feedback to help you know what you are doing and whether it is right.
We work alongside you in the water so we can show you what to do and help you understand how to get it right and crucially to know when it’s right so you can practice properly and effectively.

We also know that you won’t be able to swim without stress until you first learn to be comfortable so we will help you to quickly learn how to relax and overcome your fears so you can easily learn to swim without stress – even if you think it’s impossible for you.
Learning to swim or improving your stroke with traditional teaching methods can be stressful and overwhelming, often you’re asked to work on 6 things at once which we know just isn’t possible, instead we break things down into simple steps; mini-skills that are easy to learn and practice so you make far more progress more quickly than with traditional lessons – whatever your level of expertise.
We give you everything you need to help you make the most of your practice sessions so you know exactly what to do to improve every time you swim.
