Our next Front Crawl For Beginners small group course starts in SEPTEMBER

Every single one of our hundreds of water confidence clients have felt much more confident in the water after just one of our breakthrough lessons!

Face to face lessons are all 1:1 and are held in our lovely private pool studio; there will only be you and I in the building and I will be with you in the water so I can reassure you, show you what to do and help you get it right.

Rather than booking lots of lessons, we encourage you to come for one session, see how you get on and then we’ll advise you on the best plan of action and lesson type to get you to your goal as quickly and easily as possible.

Of course we cannot guarantee results and everyone progresses at a different rate but we have never failed to help someone feel much more confident after one session, even if they have tried many times before without success.

For anyone with a water phobia, or who feels uncomfortable or panics in the water, is not comfortable floating or who cannot put their face in the water.
A private, relaxed, stress-free 1:1 session where we will help you understand your fear of water and spend around an hour in the pool working at your pace through an easy step-by-step process that will quickly help you become more comfortable – there’s no stress and I promise you’ll enjoy every minute!
We will provide follow up notes so you know exactly what to do to continue to overcome your water phobia and build your confidence and we’ll capture breakthrough moments on video for you to proudly show off your new-found skills and confidence.

Longer Sessions

If you are travelling a long distance to come and see us, or if you’d like a more intensive approach we can arrange for a longer session or sessions on consecutive days. Please contact Sarah for a chat about what would work for you.

1:1 mentoring with Sarah

A tailored package of high intensity 1:1 support to help you reach your goals as quickly as possible. Options include 1:1 breakthrough session (s) with regular on line/telephone support between lessons to support your practice and/or full lifelong access to the online course with regular online/telephone support as you work through the lessons. Sessions are suitable for adults of all ages and backgrounds swimming for fitness, fun or triathlon.

You don’t need to be super-fit or be able to swim lots of lengths!

This course is aimed at adult swimmers so the minimum age is 18.

This course is suitable for people who can already swim (any stroke, anyhow) and are confident with their face in the water and in the deep end of a swimming pool. If you are not yet at this stage please get in touch with us to book some one-to-one lessons.

Yes. The course is aimed at people who can already swim a bit but want to learn or improve their front crawl. We welcome a range of abilities including people who can not swim any front crawl. You need to be comfortable putting your face in the water and swimming in the deep end.

Yes. We will teach you how to be more efficient and relaxed in the water so that you swim faster and save energy. Video analysis will show you where you can improve, and we will give you all the drills and skills needed to practice in your own time.

These sessions are about learning good technique, so we do not swim lots of lengths. This means that they shouldn’t be physically tiring. However, learning something new requires focus and concentration so sometimes people find them mentally tiring!

Please bring your swimming costume or trunks (close-fitting are better), swim cap, goggles, drink and a towel.

There is plenty of car parking at the school.

Unfortunately, refunds can’t be offered, but wherever possible we will try to accommodate you on a different course.
