No. Conventional coaching methods do not agree with the Total Immersion methodology and therefore alternating between the two methods will confuse you and you will not see the results you will be hoping for.
Yes, we are trying to get new movement patterns into your muscle memory – the more you do “good” practice the quicker this will happen.
It’s fine, don’t worry, you don’t need youth, athleticism or special talents to be a great swimmer.
Please park on the gravelled area next to the large wall with railings and make your way across to the log cabin. If the parking is full, please park carefully on the road below neighbouring driveways next to the large hedge or just before the gravelled parking area.
Your swimsuit, (we recommend Speedo type shorts for men rather than board shorts) a towel and ideally a pair of goggles, a swim cap and a drink. Don’t worry if you don’t have goggles or a cap as we have plenty to borrow. Please also ensure you have not applied any body lotions or oils on the day of your swim.
